I'm a pretty good cook. But I just have such an issue with knowing how to use my slow cooker. I want to use it so bad. So when I saw this recipe for using up extra Thanksgiving turkey by making it into slow cooker chili, voila! I was excited. And, since I wasn't feeling like getting out of my cozy pajamas and extracting myself from my lair, Brent even went to the grocery store and successfully obtained exotic things like fresh green chiles. (I drew a picture on the list to be extra helpful.) He's my hero. And tucking into our big bowls of turkey chili with a side of sweet cornbread, I just felt so content. MMmmmmm.... this is what I'm thankful for.
